S2 steel bits
In all four ratchet sets, the 130 and 166-in-1 precision sets and the electric kits.
CR-V steel, 55–60 HRC
Chrome vanadium bits in the 117, 122 and 138-in-1, hardened to 55–60 HRC. The 55 and 150-in-1 also use CR-V.
50BV30 sockets
The 25-in-1 adds seven long sockets in 50BV30 chrome vanadium steel.
Aluminum alloy
The 40 and 74-in-1 T-handles and the 58, 62, 66 and 167-in-1 electric drivers.

Pick by screw, not by piece count

A bigger number means more bits, not a better fit. Match the kit to the screws you open most, then check the bit list on the product page.

  • Head type Pentalobe and tri-wing screws need a precision set; triangle screws on toys need the TA drivers.
  • Reach Recessed screws need an extension. Rigid or flexible shafts come in most precision and electric kits.
  • Force Ratchet handles turn stuck screws. Electric drivers top out at 0.35 N·m, so start or finish tight screws by hand.
